Global Business Forum 2013 networks entrepreneurs and investors!
- Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, 14th-16th August 2013
A great business idea will remain what it is, unless and until one networks with the right parties, and gets adequate funding or secures the necessary tie-up. And that’s where the Global Business Forum (GBF) 2013 came in.
With Global Guest Speakers from as far afield as South Africa, Madagascar, Mauritius, Jordan and China sharing their insights with participants and inviting potential partners to network with them, it can be safely surmised that this 3-day event achieved its goal, and perhaps more.

Here are just some of the pearls of wisdom, shared by the Global Guest Speakers:
- “It’s never easy…but if you’ve found your joy, your passion…then you’ll surely find a way to realize your dreams!” (Jet Toh, Singaporean Global Guest Speaker)
- “When opportunity comes, don’t turn your back (on it).” (Ibrahim Khatib, Jordanian Global Guest Speaker)

The Global Business Forum (GBF) was originally conceived as the `Global Entrepreneurs Roundtable’ (GER) in 2010, with the idea of bringing together parties and groups from all over the world, to dialogue, network, share information and forge friendships in attaining mutual goals. What began as an international Roundtable to initiate joint ventures and partnerships soon assumed a momentum of its own and the rest, as the saying goes, is history.
