Dubbed Southeast Asia’s largest gifts, premium and stationery showcase of its kind, the  6th KL International Gifts, Premium & Stationery 2014 Fair (KLIGP 2014) was a resounding success. Organized by the Malaysian Gifts & Premium Association (MGPA), the KLIGP 2014 featured more than 400 exhibitors from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The KLIGP 2014 provided a platform for industry players specializing in the gifts, premiums, stationery and supporting fields to showcase their products and services to prospects. Ultimately, the aim of every KLIGP is to propel the industry and its players to greater heights, in according them the credit they richly deserve.

More than 12,000 visitors thronged Halls 1 and 2 of the PWTC over the KLIGP 2014’s 3-day period, and were rewarded with the opportunity to view the latest gifts and stationery products, including acrylic mementos, apparels and garments, crystal products, handicrafts, IT and electronic products, laser engraving services and many more. In fact, virtually anything and everything that falls under the “gifts, premiums and stationery” category was showcased at the KLIGP 2014. In addition, one of the main highlights of the KLIGP 2014 was the introduction of a mobile app that enabled online registration, as well as QR codes that served as entry passes to the KLIGP.

The KLIGP 2014 was officiated by the Chairperson of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation, YB Dato’ Noraini Ahmad. An apt honor, as the event was endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), and supported by the Malaysian Retailer-Chains Association (MRCA), Federation of Textiles Garment and General Goods Malaysia, Branding Association of Malaysia, Singapore Gifts Association and Thai Gifts, Premium & Decorative Association.

Staying true to the tradition of featuring gift-centric themes, this year’s KLIGP was aptly themed “All About Gifts”. It also featured the following side-events and attractions, in spurring the gifts, premium and stationery industry to even greater heights:

In walking the talk, LINs.AD/LINs Comm Executive Director, Mickie Teo, was not only one of the steering committee members of the Promotional Product Design Award 2014, but also a key sponsor of the prize winners.
