With the clash of a gong, members of the media were officially alerted to the fact that the 5th KL International Gifts, Premium & Stationery (KLIGP) Fair 2013 will be coming to town, this June (12th to 14th). This year’s event will feature 450 booths operated by trade professionals not only from Malaysia, but all over Asia as well, including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Korea.
One of the 5th KLIGP 2013’s highlights includes its theme, “The Amazing Gifts Hunt”, which was conceived to bring the elements of fun and adventure to the Fair. This 2-day showcase will also play host to the 1st Promotional Product Design Award (PPD) 2013, which is intended to serve as a platform for budding designers to showcase their talents and explore commercialization opportunities.
Among those present at the Balloting & Launching of the 5th KLIGP 2013 were Malaysian Retailer-Chains Association (MRCA) representative Choi Wei Yee, Malaysian Gifts and Premium association (MGPA) president Alan Ong, Federation of Textiles General Goods & Garment Association deputy president Yew Chin Leong, Association of Exporters & Producers of Handicraft Indonesia sec-gen Pak Thamrin Bustami and Federation of Booksellers Association of Malaysia president Dr. Ling Hie Sing.
